"Halloween Edition :: Hitman" |
LOOK OF THE DAY
HAPPY Tuesday! To
all the Fashionista's of the world.
Apologies for not posting yesterday...was feeling under the weather I
would have if had the strength but unfortunately, I did not but I'm back in
action so join me in this Halloween edition of LOOK OF THE WEEK!
For today's look
of the day I decided that I would go for something simple and monotone so I
went with everyone's go to colour -black-.
As Halloween is fast approaching I thought why don't I come up with
outfit ideas that you can translate into a costume for the day itself, think
of it as an inexpensive way to dress for the occasion as all you really need is
what’s already in your wardrobe. For the
next few days I will be showing you guys wardrobe inspired outfits that easily
translates into a Halloween costume. [PS
:: You don’t have to copy exactly what I have on as this is merely some sort of
a guide.]
Today's look is a
Hitman inspired outfit. We start off
with a black turtle neck by New Look paired with black soft denim skinnies by
Marks & Spencer. I belted the jeans
with my Vintage Salvatore Ferragamo two toned leather waist belt to keep it on
my waist...LoL... I topped of the look
with a black quilted moto leather jacket by Topshop to give it that edgy
look. The key to a Hitman ensemble is
two things, and that is think black all black and of course the plain black
baseball cap.
On bottom, I kept
it in black to give me a streamlined silhouette via my black buckled ankle
booties by New Look.
For accessories,
I went with a somewhat minimalistic approach by pairing a dainty evil eye
necklace by H&M followed by a simple analogue watch by ASOS and a bunch of
rings by Topshop and H&M. No Hitman
outfit is complete without a black baseball cap so I wore my felt baseball cap
with leather inset by H&M.
Lastly, the
chosen bag to go with today's pairing is my Prada Saffiano wanna be handbag
which is the ZARA office city bag, to add structure and tie in the look all
together and give it a polished and prim chicness feel. Of course for costume purposes a rectangular
bag will act as your sniper gun case.
That's it for
today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE!
...XOXO...
HAVE A FABULOUS
