LOTD :: The Nice Cruella

"The Nice Cruella"

For today's look of the day I am channeling my inner Cruella Deville and going for a somewhat monochromatic preppy look that I call "The Nice Cruella".  By substituting trousers for a pair of moto skinnies this brings in an unexpected edge to a rather sweet look.

We start off with a chambray and heart printed chiffon panelled button up by Primark paired with grey coated denim moto skinnies by H&M.  I kept the button up untucked because of its billowy shape which somewhat resembles a hi-low cut and to keep a casual effortlessness, I did add my River Island tan concho style leather waist belt to keep my moto skinnies from falling down...LoL...  What is a preppy look with a shirt and jumper combination, here I paired my button up with a monochromatic zigzag hi-low jumper by H&M.  This also helps me keep warm as it is now starting to get cold here in London Town especially in the mornings.

On bottom, I went with my New Look shell pink matte lace up brogues to give it a neutral touch and keep the preppiness of the look.
For accessories, I went with a more cool tone approach by using silver jewellery via a pearl chained collar tips by ASOS layered with my initial locket necklace also by ASOS.  I added a simple analogue watch another piece from ASOS followed by a few rings by Topshop and New Look.
Lastly, the chosen bag to go with today's pairing is my H&M winged tote to play matchy-matchy with the grey of the moto skinnies.

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! ...XOXO...
