LOTD :: Stylized Prim and Polished

"Stylized Prim and Polished

I woke up today and thought...hmmm...what should I wear to work today???

I thought I would go for a more stylized and structured, prim and polished look so what better way to exude this than a button up and blazer combo.

We start off with a medic printed short sleeve button up by Topman paired with high waisted skinny trousers by H&M.  I buttoned the shirt all the way to the top for that polished look and tucked it inside the trouser for a prim look.  I then layered a structured piece in a form of a tailored blazer that has a heritage print by H&M and this piece also adds the stylized feel because of the mix of print between the button up and the blazer.  For added warmth I just threw on a simple black cardigan by River Island.

On bottom, I decided to go with a neutral approach by wearing my nude patent lace up oxfords by New Look so that the top and blazer can take the centre stage.

For accessories, I opted I with gold toned jewellery pieces via a triangle bow collar tips by ASOS, a Vintage bouquet brooch purchased at a Boot Sale, a simple analogue watch by Sekonda along with a belt style clamp bracelet by Accessorize and a couple of rings by Topshop.

Lastly, the chosen bag to go with today's pairing is my grey H&M mini tote to continue on the polished feel of today's look.

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
