LOTD :: Spring Pastels

"Sping Pastels"

Today's look of the day is a welcome outfit for spring.  It is long overdue but seeing that the temperature is slowly rising and the weather becoming a sunnier then I thought it would be appropriate to piece together a colourful spring ensemble.

We start off with a Vintage GAP chambray button up that’s been updated through silver studs placed on the collar, I paired this with a vibrant green tuxedo pants by H&M which is a high rise so it creates a very retro(ish) silhouette.  Over the button up I decided to layer a blazer which is this soft peach colour also by H&M it just adds the perfect juxtaposition between the streamline fit of the tuxedo pants.

On bottom, I went with a nude approach as the colour palette of today's look is already vibrant even though they are pastel by wearing my New Look nude patent lace up oxfords.

For accessories, I played off with the pastel and the silver studding on the button via a silver analogue watch by ASOS and a touch of playfulness via an art deco stack ring by Topshop.

The chosen bag to go with today's pairing is a touch on a colour trend this season which is white so I went with my ZARA Mini Shopper.

Lastly, the outerwear I chose to go with today's LOTD is my grey double breasted belted mac pea coat by Primark along with a chunky knitted long scarf by River Island.

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
