LOTD: City Après-Ski Chic

"City Après-Ski Chic"

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! To all my Fashionista's out there the end of the week has arrive which means another end to a fashion story...

Today's look of the day is inspired by the Après-Ski styling with a city twist of course with black as a base canvas to make it more look like a winter city chic.

I start off with a black turtle neck by Uniqlo from their Heattech Range paired with my black coated denim skinnies by New Look for that liquid legging look.  As the pop out piece I added a chunky knitted cardigan also by New Look that has a somewhat sporadic splatter type of print.  The key to get a well put together Après-Ski look is to mix textures and the use of interesting chunky knit wear.

On bottom, I wanted to give the look a city element by adding black ankle booties also from New Look.

For accessories, I played off with the sporadic splatter print of the cardigan via geometric Aztec jewellery pieces such as a totem ladder chained necklace by Forever 21, a pyramid spike bracelet by Topshop, a gold analogue watch by ASOS, and a couple of rings by Topshop & H&M.

The chosen bag to go with today's pairing is my black leather bucket bag with leather fringing by River Island which also serves as a city element with a hint of rocker chic.

Lastly, the final piece that completes today's look of the day is the outerwear which is my leather quilted moto jacket by Topshop and a navy scarf by Boutique Hong Kong.

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
