LOTD: Punkish Grunge

"Punkish Grunge"
 LOOK OF THE DAY

HAPPY FRIDAY! To a my Lovely Fashionista's out there...Today's ensemble is yet another late 80's early 90's inspired look but with a grungy/punkish feel to it.

I started off with a white mesh knitted jumper by H&M as the top base (I am wearing a thermal top underneath for that extra warmth) paired with my high rise skinnies also by H&M (this happens to be a size 10..I simply just cannot believe that I would ever fit in a 10 ever again...LoL...).  Over the jumper I layered a studded denim vest which you guys have seen me religiously wear during the summer also by H&M with my added touch.

On bottom, I wanted to keep the punkish grunge look so I have on my studded boots by New Look in nude shade to give the look more of a light feel as supposed to your typical dark grunge.

For accessories, I played off with the toughness of the denim vest and decided to juxtapose by adding dainty feminine pieces like my initial locket necklace by ASOS, a handchain by Topshop and a digital watch by Casio.

The chosen bag for today's pairing is my TK Maxx mink satchel with detachable cross body strap to add a subtle hint of structure and polish.

Lastly, today's outerwear is a utilitarian coat by Primark along with a chunky knitted scarf by Topshop, a grey pork pie hat also by Topshop and a pair of grey fingerless gloves by River Island.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND MY DWSR FASHIONISTA'S...XOXO...

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
