LOTD: Westernesque Print on Print

"Westernesque Print on Print"
LOOK OF THE DAY

First off I would like to wish all my Fashionista's a Merry Christmas hope you are all having a blast during this festive season...xoxo...

Today's look is a mix of Print on Print, Westernesque Preppy styling because of the combinations I used to create this ensemble.

We start off with a gingham button-up by Primark buttoned all the way to the top for that polished look, paired with my dark indigo wash denim skinnies by New Look with the bottom cuffed to show off the booties.  I then layered over a striped crew neck jumper for extra warmth as it's cold out and to create that print on print look.  I added on a tan waist belt by River Island so that the jeans will stay up...LoL...

On bottom, I have on my lace-up brogue booties by Primark to give the look a casual yet polished feel.

For accessories, I have on my matte black collar tips by ASOS along with a make shift bow tie using a black ribbon I purchased from Paper Chase.  I then added on a digital watch by Casio to add some quirkiness to the look and lastly I have on my finger an "A" initial emblem by Accessorize.

The chosen bag to pair with today's look is a play off from the most prominent colour in the look which is Red so it was only fitting to pair my red mini satchel by H&M.

Lastly, today's outerwear consists of my Uniqlo camel wool duffle coat and a navy scarf by Boutique Hong Kong.

That's it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…

HAPPY FRIDAY to all my Fashionista's out there and I hope you guys will have a fabulous weekend...

LOTD: Wellington Chic

"Wellington Chic"
 LOOK OF THE DAY

Wellington Boots have definitely evolved from their traditional use to a statement pieces in a casual outfit or a staple piece is your wardrobe.  They will keep you dry on a rainy day and warm on a snowy day not mention "mud free" at a music festival so for today's look the hero piece is none other than my wellingtons.

We start off with a chambray button-up from the GAP which I studded the collar with silver pyramid studs bought at an online craft store paired with my dark indigo denim skinnies.  Over the button-up, I layered a burgundy quilted jumper by H&M.  I added a belt by River Island to keep the jeans from falling off of course...LoL...LoL...Only because these jeans a little big on me...LoL...

On bottom, are today's hero piece which are my Hunter riding wellies that I got from an ASOS sale last winter.

For accessory, I definitely went with a minimal take by adding a simple analogue watch in Silver by Sekonda.

The chosen bag to pair for today's ensemble is my Olive leather bucket bag by Topshop.

Lastly onto the outerwear, I decided to go for the layered look so opted for my plaid down gilet from Esprit over a knitted cardi by Topman and a crochet knit loop scarf by Accessorize along with my black leather gloves by M&S.

You'll notice that I played off with colour red by piecing together different shades...XOXO...

LOTD: Militant Grunge

"Militant Grunge"
 LOOK OF THE DAY

Black is probably the most basic staple colour anyone should have in their wardrobe it's a versatile and very forgiving to anyone's body shape.  For today's look of the day, I went with a grungy militant by putting together an all-black base and just adding utilitarian inspired pieces.

We start off with a black chunky cable knit jumper by Primark that has studded embellishments on the shoulder [because of the cold I had to wear a thermal top underneath which is by Uniqlo] paired with my black ankle grazer super skinnies by Marks & Spencers.  I belted the jeans with my vintage Ferragamo to keep them from riding low on my hip...LoL...

On bottom, I went with another black piece but this is utilitarian inspired and that it my Primark quilted leather combat boots.

For accessories, I went with a chevron necklace by Forever 21, a simple black watch by Swatch and some armswags, and rings by Topshop.

The chosen bag for today's look of the day is my slouch bag with gold hardware detailing and cross body straps that is by ASOS.

Lastly, today's outerwear is my black blended wool anorak by H&M with my grey chunk cable knit long scarf by River Island along with my black leather gloves by M&S.

"Casually Prim & Polished"

 LOOK OF THE DAY

For today's look of the day I decide to go with a somewhat casual office appropriate ensemble with a hint of edginess.

We start off with a black sheer button-up by Primark buttoned all the way to the top for polish paired with a New Look dark wash super skinnies to casual it up.  I added a black leather Vintage Ferragamo waist belt to add on to the polished vibe.  I then layered over the button-up my rusty orange red plush blazer by ZARA.

On bottom, I continued the polished look via suede lace up brogues from New Look.

For the accessories, I went for edgy piece for my neck which is my skull link collar necklace by Topshop along with these matte black collar tips by ASOS.  For the watch I kept it simple via my gold analogue by ASOS and as for the rings I just went with dainty piece from both Topshop & Accessorize.

Outfit Of The Night

"Old London Showtime"

EVENING ENSEMBLE

Last Friday night was my work Christmas Party at the Kia Oval the theme for the evening was "Old London Showtime" so everyone in the office got all glammed up with their Fabulous dresses and Slick Suites.

The chosen look for the event is inspired by a mixture of fashion era's from 20's to 70's.  We start off with an oxblood sheer button-up blouse by Primark with lace collar and cuff detailing paired with a high waisted wide leg trousers also by Primark.  I wanted to create the illusion of a slimmer waist so I added a thick waist belt that has a wolf emblem and quilted detailing also bought from Primark.  Over the blouse is a metallic navy jacquard printed blazer courtesy of Forever 21.

On bottoms, I opted with my pointed chelsea booties by ASOS.

For accessories, I decided to give statement via a burgundy teared necklace that I got from a buy 1 get 1 free sale at New Look.

The bag of choice to pair with the look is another Primark piece and that's this mini shoulder bag with gold hardware detailing, would you believe that I got this baby for £6.00 [bargain right].

If your wondering what the outerwear I paired with the look it's the same outer wear as the last blog post.

For my make-up I opted for a simple look with nude palette for my eyes by 17 cosmetics, a nude lipstick by Rimmel London and hint of bronze by 17 cosmetics.

That's it for the Look Of The Night and until the next time.FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! .XOXO.

Today's chosen ensemble is a combination of casual prep with a hint of western edge.

I started off with an outsized light wash denim button-up by New Look paired with my H&M grey coated denim moto skinnies which helped streamlined the bottom part of the look as the top part is loose and outsized.  I then added a grey jumper over the button up to create a monochromatic feel and of course add extra warmth.

"Modern 20's Equestrian"
 LOOK OF THE DAY

HAPPY FRIDAY! ... This season must have "it" colour is Oxblood & Burgundy, it's deeper shade within the red family.  I decided to prominently feature this colour on today's look.  I'm going for a semi Monochromatic look and add a few complimenting pieces and some colour blocking.

We start the look with a Turtleneck Long Sleeve Top by Uniqlo from their Heattech range paired with Burgundy Skinny Trousers by H&M.  I belted the look with a Reptile Print skinny waist belt that has brass and silver hardware, this breaks off the look and clearly indicate they are separates.  Over the turtle neck, I layered a Navy Tailored Blazer by H&M to add polish and give it q slight equestrian feel.

On bottom, I went for a shoe with 20's inspired design which re these 2 Toned Panelled Leatherette Slip-on Oxfords by New Look.

Accessories wise, I opted for gold tone pieces as I think it compliments Oxblood / Burgundy well.  So I added a Chain Link Braided Necklace by Accessorize, a simple Gold Analogue Watch by Sekonda, a dainty Chain Ribboned Ring by Topshop.
