LOTD: Wellington Chic

"Wellington Chic"

Wellington Boots have definitely evolved from their traditional use to a statement pieces in a casual outfit or a staple piece is your wardrobe.  They will keep you dry on a rainy day and warm on a snowy day not mention "mud free" at a music festival so for today's look the hero piece is none other than my wellingtons.

We start off with a chambray button-up from the GAP which I studded the collar with silver pyramid studs bought at an online craft store paired with my dark indigo denim skinnies.  Over the button-up, I layered a burgundy quilted jumper by H&M.  I added a belt by River Island to keep the jeans from falling off of course...LoL...LoL...Only because these jeans a little big on me...LoL...

On bottom, are today's hero piece which are my Hunter riding wellies that I got from an ASOS sale last winter.

For accessory, I definitely went with a minimal take by adding a simple analogue watch in Silver by Sekonda.

The chosen bag to pair for today's ensemble is my Olive leather bucket bag by Topshop.

Lastly onto the outerwear, I decided to go for the layered look so opted for my plaid down gilet from Esprit over a knitted cardi by Topman and a crochet knit loop scarf by Accessorize along with my black leather gloves by M&S.

You'll notice that I played off with colour red by piecing together different shades...XOXO...

That’s it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
