LOTD: Modern 20's Equestrian

"Modern 20's Equestrian"

HAPPY FRIDAY! ... This season must have "it" colour is Oxblood & Burgundy, it's deeper shade within the red family.  I decided to prominently feature this colour on today's look.  I'm going for a semi Monochromatic look and add a few complimenting pieces and some colour blocking.

We start the look with a Turtleneck Long Sleeve Top by Uniqlo from their Heattech range paired with Burgundy Skinny Trousers by H&M.  I belted the look with a Reptile Print skinny waist belt that has brass and silver hardware, this breaks off the look and clearly indicate they are separates.  Over the turtle neck, I layered a Navy Tailored Blazer by H&M to add polish and give it q slight equestrian feel.

On bottom, I went for a shoe with 20's inspired design which re these 2 Toned Panelled Leatherette Slip-on Oxfords by New Look.

Accessories wise, I opted for gold tone pieces as I think it compliments Oxblood / Burgundy well.  So I added a Chain Link Braided Necklace by Accessorize, a simple Gold Analogue Watch by Sekonda, a dainty Chain Ribboned Ring by Topshop.

Today's bag is what I call my Faux Prada Saffiano Tote that I actually bought from ZARA [real name: Office City Tote].

Lastly, the outerwear of the day is my Double Breasted Wool Pea Coat by Uniqlo and a Navy Loop Scarf by Accessorize.

That’s it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
