LOTD: Le Couleur Noire

"Le Couleur Noire"

Le Couleur Noir is the probably one of the most common staple colour in everyone's wardrobe.  It's versatility to "mesh well" when paired with anything is superb.  For today's ensemble, I opted for an all-black attire with pops of print and colour.  I am definitely channeling the Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire silhouette with this black ensemble…LoL…

We start off with the base and that is my black turtle neck top from the Heattech rage by Uniqlo, I thin layered over a black light weight blazer by H&M.  I paired them off with simple black skinny trousers also from H&M.  To create dimension I added a leopard printed skinny waist belt by New Look.

On bottom, I opted for something that has a little statement and that's my black pointed ankle booties from River Island.  The reason why I said it has some statement is the western inspired print on the side of the shoes that give it that unexpected "BAM!" moment...LoL...

For accessories, I went with statement pieces like this neon piece from ZARA, I don't actually know what it's supposed to be in terms of shape/silhouette all I knew is it had to be mine...LoL...LoL...  I also added a cocktail statement ring; it's simple with a statement by Primark and then finished off with a simple watch by ASOS.

Today's bag will be the bag of the week and that it my ZARA black office city tote that resembles the Prada Saffiano Tote.

Lastly, for my outerwear, I decided to go with my long wool trench coat in navy from ASOS and for the scarf I went with a black pashmina.

That’s it for today’s LOTD and until the next time…FASHION IS THE DICTATOR OF TASTE! …XOXO…
