LOTD: Tribal Pastel

Tribal Pastel

The first Work Outfit for September 2012.  Today’s look of the day is all about being bold but still have that subtle element.  We start of with the base which is this Powder Blue Sleeveless Button-Up [this was previously a short sleeve shirt] paired with a Mint High Waisted Denim Super Skinnies, I cuffed the ends to give it a more casual feel.  I then added a this Navy Tribal Aztec Printed Bomber Jacket, the great thing about this piece is that it’s light weight and when buttoned up it give the illusion that it’s a shirt.  On bottoms, I went for my Nude Suede Brogues to add a little polish.  For accessories, I went for a slightly minimal approach via a Mint Prism Cocktail Ring, a Silver Analogue Watch, and a G.E.E.K. Scrable Piece Necklace which is embossed with pastel colours.  Lastly to complete the look, I went for my Trusty Taupe Buckle Style Cross-Body Satchel to add a subtle “collegiate” feel.
